Mike and the team did an amazing job. 100% recommended this company. Quote process was simple and arranged promptly, all further steps arranged on schedule, good communication, work completed to a high standard: Outlets and switches purchased and installed all matched exactly to the current ones in my home, measurements double checked, recommendations made during quote process and during installation to make it functionally and aesthetically better without being significantly more expensive (as a non-electrician you don’t know all possible so this was really appreciated), everything level and centre where applicable, team didn’t hesitate to ask questions for my preference (e.g. height of pendants), everyone polite and tidy and electrical certified received. Getting all the electrical outlets installed became more complicated as we got full access into the ceiling which we didn’t have at the quote stage. Mike (Director) stood by the quote and I said it was fine to review - aside from it being the right thing to do - they did an excellent job. Offering to stand by the quote shows Mike’s personal character which inevitably flows into his business and the staff he works with. Having a director with integrity, leading with these values, results in a company everyone hopes to hire: one you trust to be in your home and trust advising you on specialist subject matter. It also becomes the company you’ll go out of your way to support (hence this detailed review). Mike and his team was very great! Mike planned everything so well and the team went above and beyond during the heat pump installation. They don’t only ensure that it works well but also it looks well. I’m very happy with their service and will surely contact them again if I need any electrical help.

Mike was excellent. I had a problem on a Sunday and he came around straight away to fix it. He was quick, efficient and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely recommend Mike and would use him again.
I had an issue with only half my lights and plugs were working. I checked the board and all looked fine.I contacted Choice and over the phone Mike did some basic troubleshooting with me to pinpoint the problem which turned out to be the dishwasher.I was expecting to have an expensive call out, but thanks to Mike's excellent service it didn't cost a cent. I wish all companies were like Choice.I highly recommend them to anyone with electrical issues.

Great fast service. We had 2 minor faults (smoke alarm and hot water switch) that needed fixing. Mike was able to fix these faults in a time that suited us. I would not hesitate in employing his services again.

Amazing service. Great communication and outcome. We had a tricky situation which some electricians might have said ‘cut out walls!’. But with Mikes thoughtfulness and approach we achieved an amazing result that didn’t end up costing anything near to what we were expecting. We will be using him again for sure!
Fantastic experience with Mike from Choice Electrical, who I'm now referring to as Choice Mike. Choice Mike arrived faster than I expected, quickly diagnosed the fault, sourced the (hard to find) part, and repaired the very dodgy hot water cylinder perfectly. Choice electrical provided exceptional service, demonstrating both speed and professionalism. I was thoroughly impressed by their dedication to the job, especially during a time of urgency when we had been without power for eight days due to a large power surge.Their prompt response was awesome. We had been without power for several days and at the first opportunity we had to get power back, they came out to get us reconnected- against peak hour traffic from the other side of Auckland after they had finished work for the day.Choice electrical fixed the rest of the damages to our house very promptly. One electrician even remained on site to complete the job on a Friday night to ensure we had power in the kitchen so we could cook unhindered!I highly recommend their services based on this positive experience.
